Phil Cullen, President
Phil is a senior executive with over 20 years of experience in several functional areas including: alliances, analytics, business intelligence, consulting, customer care, product management, product / solution development, process definition and optimization, and project management. Phil has a proven track record of rapidly understanding new business disciplines, developing comprehensive strategies, and delivering results. Additionally, Phil has demonstrated leadership experience turning around
under-performing business units, building high-performance teams, fostering effective partnerships / alliances, and building trusted advisor relationships with CXO level clients.
Prior to founding Acqua Consulting, Phil held senior leadership positions at Fair Isaac, Lawson Software, Vignette, OnDisplay, and PeopleSoft. At Fair Isaac, Phil led the Global Analytics Consulting Group with offices in the United States, EMEA, and Asia. At OnDisplay, Phil was responsible for all professional services including account management, consulting, education, and customer support. OnDisplay had one of the 10 top IPO's in 1999 and was acquired by Vignette for $1.8B. At Vignette, Phil developed and implemented an award winning account management program that dramatically improved customer satisfaction and generated new sales. At PeopleSoft, Phil led five research and development organizations responsible for product defect prevention, release management, quality assurance, release operations, and performance benchmarking. Phil began his career at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) where he was a senior manager in the telecommunications practice.
Phil graduated from the University of California, San Diego Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. Computer Science and Management Science (double major).
